LMMF Contributes $1,000 to Be The Match Foundation

​On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, Live Music Movement Foundation (LMMF) board members Kathy Drayton, chairperson, and Cheryl Brown, treasurer; along with board advisors Linda Robinson and Leslie Drayton presented $1,000 to Naheemah McMicheaux on behalf of Be The Match Foundation.

​This contribution is in honor of Carol Martin Hicks and the outcome of a successful fundraising partnership between LMMF and Be The Match Foundation. The two nonprofit organizations partnered to use music as a healing modality to address and raise awareness of blood cancer diseases such as leukemia, lymphoma and sickle cell anemia.

​Also on hand for the presentation was Rebecca Henry  who presented the idea of the collaboration between LMMF and Be The Match Foundation and was the catalyst to make the event a huge success.
