Sunday Old School Soul Featuring Will Wheaton

A Sunday afternoon into evening of Old School Soul with Will Wheaton is fast approaching. The musical event takes place Sunday, April 28, 2013, at the historic Maverick’s Flat  in the heart of Leimert Park, 4225 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008. Showtime is 5:00 p.m. concluding at 9:00 p.m.

Be The Match Foundation and LMMF are partnering during this event to raise awareness of the need for individuals to join the bone marrow registry. We are reaching out to the demographic of  18-44 year-olds to test for a match with our friend  Carol Martin Hicks. Carol has life threatening blood cancer ​that can only

​be cured with a bone marrow transplant. The test is simple and takes 5 minutes. A portion of the net proceeds from the event will be donated to Be The Match Foundation.
